How long will my order take?

The day that we receive your order, we will prepare a proof copy and send it to you by post, fax or email, depending upon your requirements. If fax or email is used we would still like to send a printed proof as well, then you can see exactly how your stationery will look - with the exception of the lamination. Printing does not take place until you are completely happy with your order. Once approved (by telephone, email or fax) your order is usualy despatched within two days, three days if laminated.

I have received my order but have not been invoiced. Why?

We will not invoice you for the order until you have actually received the stationery. You can if you wish send a cheque or money order for the requisite amount together with your order request. The cheque should be made payable to Finepoint Graphics. We also accept most major credit cards; MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo or Switch.

What is the reason for the set-up charge?

The £30.00 set-up charge is to cover the typesetting of your wording, additional artwork, proofing, postage & packaging. If we need to return a photograph we will always return your order using Royal Mails' special delivery service (if you are resident in the U.K).

How much will it cost to have a photo reproduced?

We charge a one off fee of £10.00 for each photograph that we scan.

I have a photograph, but the person is not on their own. The photograph has faults. Is this a problem?

There is no need to cut or damage your photos in any way. Your photograph will be scanned and cropped to 30mm x 35mm or larger if desired.

We have the expertise to remove the background and other people from the photograph, and minor damage to photos can be repaired. Faded photos can be restored to their original colours to some extent.

I do not have photograph but I have an inkjet printout. Is this a problem?

We will get a better result if you can send us the digital file. Send the file by attaching it to an email. If you can not obtain the digital file, we will scan the printout - a large printout is best.

I only have a black & white photograph and I wanted colour.

Black & White Photographs can be tinted, such a sepia or colour tinted as shown on our Black & White Photographs page. Please click here.

What if I do not order enough cards?

We do recommend that you order slightly more than you anticipate needing, but reprinting an order is not a problem, because all orders that we process are archived. We will not charge you the set-up charge for reprints, only the cost for the quantity of cards required, plus postage & packaging.

How long have you been established?

Finepoint Graphics was established in London in 1975 as a design, pre-press & printing company, and for the last fifteen years a department has specialized in providing stationery for funerals.
